Terms & Conditions
A deposit of 25% of the total hire cost is payable on booking. The balance is payable no later than 30 days before the rental start date. If a booking is made less than 30 days before the rental start date, the full balance is payable on booking. Non payment of the balance on or before the due date shall be deemed as cancellation of the booking.
When you submit a booking via the online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.
General terms & conditions
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Unless otherwise agreed, the accommodation hire period is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.
CLEANING, DAMAGE, BREAKAGES
Hirers should take all reasonable care of the property and its contents and leave them in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the rental. Any breakages should be reported and we reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.
The use of accommodation and amenities including the gardens and grounds is entirely at the Hirer's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the Hirer or the Hirer's companions or guests. Children and animals must be supervised at all times.
The Coach House Farm has a strict no smoking policy that applies to the interior of the accommodation. Should you smoke outside, please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement – please include details with your enquiry or booking. Please contact us to discuss any other kind of pet you may wish to bring. Pets must not be left alone in the property unless prior agreement is obtained from The Coach House Farm. Please respect future guests by not allowing your pet on the soft furnishings.
RIGHT OF ENTRY
The Coach House Farm owners reserve the right to enter, or enable staff to access, the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the advertised maximum without written approval by The Coach House Farm.
The Coach House Farm reserves the right to change or provide alternatives for any facilities advertised. This will be due to necessary repairs or seasonal requirements.
Guests not resident in the UK are required to notify us of their passport number and home address.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
If you need to cancel your booking, please advise us immediately. We will attempt to re-let the property and return your payment, less a handling charge of £25.00 per cottage. If we are unable to re-let the property all monies will be forfeited.
CANCELLATION BY US
In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. fire damage, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.
