This beautiful, peaceful location offers all the delights of the English countryside. Grange Farm is a working family farm set in the small, peaceful village of Godington in rural Oxfordshire, close to the Cotswolds. Open all year, our five dog friendly self catering cottages have been sensitively converted from original Victorian barns, and are located in a private courtyard.
Inside and out, our cottages ooze beautiful country charm, combined with outstanding levels of comfort. Underfloor heating, natural oak floors, tumbled marble tiles and exposed original roof trusses and beams, feature in all the properties.
As well as countryside walks around the farm, and fishing on your doorstep, the cottages open onto lovely gardens and patios for outdoor relaxing. Our friendly alpacas and cute ponies delight adults and children alike!
Each cottage is fitted out with a combination of contemporary practical items and luxurious character furnishings. The kitchen areas contain a full-sized cooker, fridge, microwave oven and dishwasher. Quality crockery, cutlery and glasswear are also provided, plus TV, DVD and radio/CD player. Each property opens onto lovely gardens, with furniture and barbecue equipment for outdoor relaxation and dining, depending on the season.
Bicester North railway station 15 minutes away, London Marylebone just 65 minutes. Easy access from M40 and M1 motorways and other major routes.

Originally used as a threshing barn, this two storey holiday farm cottage is truly stunning, with exposed roof trusses, beams and a magnificent wrought iron chandelier. The cottage has an abundance of original features, and the huge barn doors have been converted into imposing windows, with views of the fields and stable yard.
Threshing Hall Barn has natural oak flooring with underfloor heating. There is a full sized, oak farmhouse-style kitchen area, with a dishwasher and tumbled marble wall tiles. The magnificent, open plan living and kitchen area is the perfect place for just relaxing, leisurely dining and late night chatting with family and friends.
This beautiful cottage has three double (4'6") bedrooms and three well equipped bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom with shower are on the ground floor, while the hand crafted oak staircases take you to the other two bedrooms and bathrooms (baths with shower attachments), situated on the first floor. For maximum convenience, there is also a high quality sofa bed available.
Beautiful barn! Girls enjoyed their first taste of fishing - now they’re ‘hooked’! Lots of places to visit. Thanks to Penny, who was very helpful, and Harry the Labrador for amusing the girls. Very relaxing holiday, would love to come back.

As its name suggests, this holiday farm cottage has picturesque views across wide meadow pasture known as ‘Nine Acre’. The meadow is home to grazing sheep, horses and other livestock and gives a real sense of living the rural life.
Nine Acre View has one beautiful bedroom, containing a super king size bed (six feet wide), making it ideal for long lays in. The bed can also be converted into two single beds.
The cottage has natural oak flooring with underfloor heating, a bathroom with shower cubicle and an oak farmhouse style kitchen area, with tumbled marble wall tiles.
The open plan living area has French doors leading into its own patio for outdoor dining and relaxing. The lovely furnishings include a comfortable sofa bed for children or friends, to accommodate two additional guests, and a well equipped farmhouse kitchen area.
We have all enjoyed a lovely holiday at Grange Farm. We especially appreciated the excellent facilities and the beautiful furnishings.

The Dairy Parlour was last used for its traditional purpose some twenty five years ago, when the farm milked a Friesian dairy herd. Although it looks somewhat different now, the holiday farm cottage has retained many of its beautiful original features, including open trusses with ‘cathedral' ceilings and oak beams.
The cottage has one spacious bedroom, containing a super king bed (six feet wide) which we can also make into two single beds. The sofa in the living area converts into a comfortable sofa bed to accommodate up to two additional guests.
There is a well fitted bathroom with a shower cubicle and a sumptuous open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The Dairy Parlour has natural oak flooring with underfloor heating and an oak farmhouse-style kitchen area, with tumbled marble wall tiles.

Fisherman's Lodge is a delightful holiday farm cottage with loads of charm and original features, including exposed roof trusses and natural oak floors with underfloor heating. It also has attractive views of the farm and across the courtyard.
The single storey cottage has a beautifully furnished open plan living area for cooking, dining and relaxing, with rich check fabrics and angling print curtains.The cottage has one bedroom with a double (4’6”) bed.
The good sized bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. Fisherman’s Lodge also has a comfortable sofa bed in the living area to accommodate up to two additional guests. There is a fully equipped, farmhouse-style kitchen with tumbled marble wall tiles.
Very warm and cosy, superb accommodation for a family get together. Blue skies and frosty walks around the surrounding countryside.

Car arrival: From Bicester, follow the A4421 towards Buckingham. Approximately 3 miles outside Bicester, take a right hand turn, situated on a brow of a hill, signposted 'Godington and Poundon'. Head along this lane for about a mile, taking the second left hand turn signposted 'Godington Only'. Drive down this lane past Godington Hall, and then into the village. Carry on past a line of houses on your right, and you will find Grange Farm at the end of the lane, on your right hand side. Once you have arrived at Grange Farm, take the left hand fork and then turn right in front of the stable yard, where you will find our visitor parking.
