Details

Two fully equipped, modern holiday cottages in the grounds of The Rectory Lacock. Ideal for couples or families with young children.

The Rectory Lacock is a Grade II listed Victorian building built in 1866. Sitting in 6 acres of private Wiltshire countryside, the Rectory is just a 2 minute leisurely walk from the heart of the medieval National Trust village of Lacock.
There are two holiday cottages in the grounds of the Rectory where our guests have the privacy of their own dedicated patio area and a separate private garden, exclusively available to our cottage guests. Each cottage has two bedrooms and all of the facilities that our guests would expect to find in good quality self-catering accommodation.
Converted from the original former stables the cottages have vaulted ceilings and modern interiors. Lenton Cottage is a little larger, and has a vaulted roof in the lounge with french doors overlooking the fields and stables. This cottage has one double room and a second bedroom with a truckle bed for three.
Wheeler Cottage has an open plan kitchen/living area, with a vaulted ceiling and overlooks the rectory gardens. This cottage has a double room and second bedroom with bunk beds. Both cottages are ideally suited for a couple or a family with young children or business person working in the area. Although the cottages are separate there is an adjoining hallway so the cottages can be interlinked as one if required.
Each cottage is well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen including an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. All linen and towels are included. The cottages have WIFI access as well as TV and DVD facilities. An iron and ironing board are available. There is parking on site for one car per cottage. If further car parking is required please call/email. No pets allowed.
The beautiful village of Lacock is a firm favourite for film and TV producers due to its notably picturesque streets and historic cottages, all unspoilt by modern alterations. The village has been used as a setting for Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Cranford and Harry Potter. Very recently, the village has been used for the filming the final Downton Abbey movie in Sep 2018.
The cottages are also ideally suited to people visiting the local area including Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat.
We offer a discount for 3 night mini breaks and 7 night bookings.
