Spring on the horizon…25/02/2015
In case you hadn’t noticed the evenings are slowly getting lighter. In fact, it’s amazing to think that only a few weeks ago it was dark at 4.30pm but now, we’re seeing daylight way past 5.30pm! This can only mean one thing –
Spring is on the horizon!
After the months of cold and snow there’s suddenly a feeling of optimism for us all and that of course means it’s a good time to start thinking about Spring breaks and holidays that take in the longer days and hopefully better weather.
As holiday season goes, it’s a good time to be thinking of your Spring break as there’s a lot going on where it comes to countryside experiences!
For starters, if you’ve always fancied seeing lambing season now is the time to look for a Farm Stay break at a working farm! We’ve had a lot of reports from many Farm Stay members with great stories of their new lambs arriving but be quick as it doesn't last forever! Many farms will allow you to watch the lambing in progress and of course, for adults and children alike seeing the little lambs when they’re only a few days old is always a novelty.
Mother’s Day this year falls on the 15th of March so without trying to scare anyone – that’s just over a couple of weeks away! Gift vouchers or even a weekend countryside break for Mum can be a great way to show her you care.
Farm Stay has plenty of special offers and late deals available too, so even if you’re just looking for a quick break away today it’s always worth taking a look at what our great members have on offer!
Farm Stay members are great hosts and have some of the most beautiful places you could imagine staying in. From cottages with open fires to grand properties with a swimming pool and games room, there’s something for everyone with Farm Stay!
Oh and don't forget that we've got over 400 pet friendly properties so your beloved K9 can get a break too!
See you soon…
