B&B - Bodmin Moor, Cornwall

If you enjoy walking, geo-caching, orienteering, cycling or horse riding, there is no better place to visit in Cornwall than Bodmin Moor.  Team this up with a Cornish Farm Stay B&B and you are sure to create a holiday or short break to remember!

Our Cornish members based on or close to Bodmin Moor are able to offer quality accommodation based on working farms or in countryside locations.  Enjoy en suite accommodation with home cooked breakfasts using as far as possible local produce; spacious rooms often with several added extras and one large addeed bonus when staying in rural Cornwall - many of our owners are Cornish through and through and will be able to give you a wealth of information about Cornwall's iconic moorland.

Explore many of the haunts used in some of TV's greatest productions including Jamaica Inn and Poldark or trace the books of Daphne Du Maurier.

Among the livestock you will see on Bodmin Moor are Ponies, Sheep and Cattle.  There are plenty of opportunities to try your hand at pony riding at one of the many riding schools in the area. Viewing the beauty of Bodmin Moor on horseback is a treat that will create lasting memories.  Alternatively, take a trip to Sibleyback Lake and take part in water sports or hire a segway; visit Colliford Lake and just simply relax and watch the abundance of wildlife feeding of the lake and moorland.  The moorland isn't just a place for serious hikers - there are family friendly walks too - like the marked trails at Cardinham Woods which also make good cycling routes.

Copper Meadow
Dotted around the beautiful countryside of Bodmin Moor, you'll find small farm shops selling unique local produce as well as tearooms or cosy, friendly pubs serving local ales and food specialities sourced from nearby, where you can refuel before returning to your quality countryside accommodation.

Two of Cornwall's highest peaks are to be found at Bodmin Moor...Rough Tor and the slightly taller Brown Willy, which reaches a height of 420 metres (1,377 ft) above sea level. More than a hundred Bronze Age hut circles have been excavated on the slopes of Rough Tor.

Minions
is a village rich in history, heritage and legend. Here you can find -
The Hurlers, a unique a set of 3 standing stone circles which
attract visitors from all over the world who come to "Dowse" the stone circles and feel the energy that is said to come from them.
The Cheesering is also nearby - and on a clear day its distinct shape can be seen from most parts of the Minions moor.  From the Cheesewring on a clear day the views across the Cornish countryside are nothing less than stunning.
