Church Farm offers seven self-catering cottages on a working sheep farm between Bath and Bradford on Avon, set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the village of Winsley. Choose from four ground-floor two-bedroom cottages sleeping four guests, or three one-bedroom cottages sleeping two. Guests enjoy free bookable private use of the indoor heated swimming pool and indoor table tennis. The village pub, Hartley Farm Shop and Barn Café are all within half a mile, while the Kennet & Avon Canal is nearby for walking and cycling. Ideal for couples, families, groups and business stays. Free WiFi and EV charging available.

Award-winning single-storey cottages converted from traditional stone cow byres, full of character with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Set on a working sheep farm with 200 breeding ewes, Church Farm offers three one-bedroom cottages and four two-bedroom cottages, sleeping up to 22 guests in total.

Each cottage has its own garden or patio with outdoor furniture, alongside ample parking and two Voltshare EV charging points exclusively for guests. Guests can enjoy free private bookings of the heated indoor swimming pool whatever the weather, as well as discounted access to the on-site wood-fired sauna and cold plunge pools.

Located on the edge of the village of Winsley, Church Farm sits between the World Heritage City of Bath (5 miles) and the historic town of Bradford on Avon (2 miles). Longleat House and Safari Park is just 12 miles away, with discounted tickets available for guests staying with us. The village pub, The Seven Stars, and Hartley Farm Shop & Barn Café are both within a short walk, while a larger Co-op supermarket is just one mile away in Bradford on Avon.

Guests can also enjoy Farmcraft experiences run by Becky, including Sheep Herding, Lambing Experiences during March and April. These activities are popular with families, groups and corporate stays, and should be booked in advance.

Church Farm has been in the Bowles family for over 120 years. Many of the cottage names come from the surrounding fields, some with Flemish origins dating back to Belgian weavers who settled in the area. During the careful renovation of the original cow byres, many traditional features were preserved, including natural stone walls, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and stone pillars. Today, the cottages combine rustic charm with modern comforts including full central heating, double glazing and free WiFi.
