Kick back and relax in one of our self-catering holiday cottages or timber cabin retreat, sleeping between 2 and 6 (or up to 14 when combined). Set in 9 acres of gardens and paddocks there is plenty to keep the whole family occupied from the outdoor heated saltwater swimming pool and the tennis court to the well-equipped games room and play area. Explore the grounds whilst taking in the far-reaching views. Exercise dogs off lead in our 2 paddocks.

Each cottage is comfortably furnished and has everything you’ll need for your self-catering holiday including enclosed gardens - ideal for families, dogs, BBQ’s and watching sunsets!

We have the best of both worlds with stunning countryside and easy access to the coast. 


You can relax and enjoy local walks or just soaking up the views and use our facilities.

Or there is plenty to do within easy reach such as:
- we are just outside Colyton, a pretty town with two pubs, a great butchers and fishmongers and a beautiful church amongst other amenities. A tram runs from the town down to Seaton.
- bird lovers will love Seaton Wetlands where you can watch wading birds, wildfowl , dragonflies, butterflies and possibly even otters.
- beaches at Lyme Regis, Beer, Charmouth, Exmouth for building sandcastles, rockpooling, crabbing and fossil hunting
- shopping in Lyme Regis, Sidmouth or Exeter
- days out including Crealy theme park, Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, Donkey Sanctuary, World of Country Life, Seaton Jurassic and more
- great pubs and restaurants including Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage near Axminster

The games room has table tennis, table football, air hockey, darts, pool and toys for younger children. There is also a selection of novels and dvds for you to browse. Collect your tennis rackets and balls from here and head over to the tennis court for a match.

Kids will love our outdoor play area with a climbing frame and a log obstacle course!

The Dairy is a charming barn conversion, renovated in 2023. It is perfect for East Devon family getaways. Its open-plan ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with smart TV, DVD player, and games.

Upstairs, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, plus a shower room, offer comfortable stays with Egyptian cotton linens and fluffy towels. Infants are catered to with a stairgate, travel cots, and highchairs.

An enclosed garden with dining furniture, and a BBQ allows for outdoor enjoyment and stargazing.

The property also provides access to:

This charming barn conversion, renovated in 2023, ideal for couples, features soft carpets and Wi-Fi throughout.

A split-level ground floor offers a spacious living area with large comfortable L-shaped sofa, armchair, smart TV, DVD player, and games. A few steps lead to the dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher. The bathroom provides a bath with shower and Egyptian cotton towels.

Upstairs, a roomy double bedroom with sloping ceilings and a mezzanine perfect for stargazing. A travel cot can be accomodated in the main bedroom and we can also provide a highchair and other baby equipment free of charge. A stairgate is fitted at the top of the stairs.

An enclosed garden with dining furniture and a BBQ allows for outdoor relaxation and keeps little ones and dogs safe.

The first floor boasts a spacious master bedroom with sloping ceilings and private bathroom, while the ground floor offers a superking/twin room, bunk bedroom, and a shower room.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge and separate freezer, oven, hob, microwave and plenty of kit for you to whip up a feast.

Egyptian cotton linens and towels ensure comfort.

Additional Directions Information

We are about 4 miles off the A30 at Honiton and about 2 miles from the centre of Colyton. A car is essential and please be prepared for Devon's narrow country lanes!

Full directions will be sent prior to arrival.

Please note that we are a family friendly site, if you have a large breed or escape artist dog then this may not be the place for you as we cannot guarantee that the gardens are dogproof.
