Lower Hill Farm is a family business nestling amongst the woods at the foot of Wenlock Edge. The farm covers 230 acres of the beautiful and unspoilt county of Shropshire,with stunning views, sunrises, sunsets and dark sky. Lower Hill Campsite provides a variety of glamping accommodation to accommodate up to 7. The site is family friendly with recently updated facilites.

New accommodation for the 2024 season, The Rotunda is an on-point extensive roundhouse with kitchen, two bedrooms (has capacity to sleep 7) plus cloakroom, lounge and veranda, and a dedicated wood fired hottub. Amazing views over the valley to the Shropshire Hills are enhanced by the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Please take a look at the photographs.... Also new for 2023/4, Apedale View (sleeping 2) is romantic cabin style, with kitchen facilities and real log burner, a wood fired hottub is available to hire. Wrekin Lodge and Caradoc Lodge (each sleeping 4) have wood fired hot tubs included in the prices. Sundown, Moonshine, Stargazer shacks (sleeping 4 each) all have individual woodfired hot tuds for hire per night. The 4 individual Roundhouses provide accommodation for 4 each (with bed settee and single mattress) plus en-suite cloakroom and cosy woodburner. Two roundhouses have the option of a wood fired hot tub. The Shepherd's Hut accomodates 3, perfect for a budget break.

The adjoining campsite gives flexablitiy to book caravans and tents for friends and family. An onsite honesty shop stocks essentials, logs and local fare. A wood fired pizza oven is a fun addition to the site and, along with the fire pits, provides variety to your cooking

It has electric heating, lighting and sockets. There is a cloakroom with flush toilet and hand basin, no more torchlight journeys! From your bed you can watch the embers of the log burner.The Woodfired Hot tub will be pre- heated for your arrival. Additional logs and basic necessities are available at the on-site Honesty shop. "The Bullrush" has a wood fired hot tub and a poolside breakfast bar, with rustic stools, so you can enjoy the early morning sunrise and evening sunsets, in your own secluded, peace and quiet. For the lovers of the outdoors, "The Bullrush" has a fire pit, picnic bench and small gas BBQ which enables you to enjoy being by the poolside, morning, noon and night.

The essence of "The Bullrush" is an 'off grid' experience, having solar lighting and power, including USB point. The hot running water, for the kitchen unit and the bathroom, is heated by gas. A gas hob and solar powered fridge means catering is as easy as 'home from home', maintaining the ease of modern facilities. Inside the cabin is a real log burner, comfy chairs and fold-up table. The bed is made-up, ready for your arrival, plus the hot tub pre-heated. Included in the price of your stay are gas, bottled drinking water, kindling and 2 boxes of logs. The kitchen has crockery and cutlery for two, cruet set, two saucepans, a frying pan, tea towel, hand towel, dish cloth, bin, washing up liquid, kitchen cleaner and welcome pack.

"The Bullrush" is a situated a third of a mile away from the main camping and glamping site (accessible by car). There are field gates to open and shut, please keep dogs on a lead, due to the presence of livestock in the fields. Images of "The Bullrush" can be seen on the Lower Hill Campsite website.

On the main site, a woodfired pizza oven is set in its own hut, with pizzas available to purchase. The Honesty shop is well stocked with BBQ essentials, free range eggs and a variety of other essentials.

Please note, the current terms and conditions of the campsite do apply to "The Bullrush", although it is a distance from the main site. Fishermen, from the main site, will have access to the pool during the day from 8.30am until 7pm.

*The Bullrush has a USB point for your technology, but there is NO toaster, TV or microwave oven, please bring your own torches and towels.

The addition of a log burner to cosy up in front of, continues the theme of romance. Whilst modern kitchen fitments (sink, fridge, electric hob, all cooking and dining equipment) to enable you to self cater. The cloakroom has a hot water supply and a composting toilet. An electric heater and TV are in situ if required.

Outdoors there is a dedicated fire pit, picnic table and bench, and a veranda completes the opportunity for shelter to view the dark sky and stars, and for shade in the summer months. Ape Dale View has an optional wood fired hot tub, please see 'extras' for charges and booking.

A Honesty shop and self contained Wood fired Pizza hut are on site to provide variety of choice whilst self catering. Ape Dale View is a place to escape the pressures of life and relax.
