Our family glamping site has four hand crafted, spacious, well-equipped and beautifully furnished Safari Lodges (each sleeping 6-8 people) set within a pair of interlinking meadows. Situated between Yarmouth and Freshwater in an AONB, all lodges have gorgeous views over the River Yar and countryside. Enjoy the serenity while being only minutes away from great restaurants, glorious beaches, and numerous holiday activities.

Our site is surrounded by footpaths, including the Freshwater Way, and the Yarmouth-Freshwater trail, but many will take you further afield if you want to explore further.  Bridlepaths and cycle routes, are also on the doorstep and we are the only holiday location offering direct access to the River Yar through our farm, for canoeing and paddleboarding.  The Yar estuary is one of the most picturesque and safest places to paddleboard on the South Coast and is perfect for beginners as well as seasoned boarders.

Our lodges have solar powered lighting, wood burning stoves, oven with hotplate, gas hob, gas fridge, 2 flushing loos, outside shower, and the piece de resistance, a free-standing slipper bath. An elevated deck with swing chair gives the perfect spot to relax. At night, gather around the campfire and make wonderful memories. Lanterns and fairy lights make everything magical, and our luxurious beds fitted with Egyptian cotton linen and soft blankets keep everyone cosy for a perfect night's sleep.

We are a pet and vehicle-free glampsite with a separate private car park close by.

Our glampsite is quiet, beautiful and close to everything you may need. Each lodge is exactly the same layout and sleep 6-8 people. There are three bedrooms sleeping six people and a sofa bed in the living area.

The lodges have many windows and wide, glazed doors on the front to let the light in (all with privacy blinds). They are insulated from underneath and have an extra roof canopy to provide further shelter over the structure. The interiors are beautifully furnished and bed linen, throws, blankets, and towels are provided.

Although gently off grid, each of our tents has solar-powered lighting in each room and USB charging points for your mobile phones. Used carefully, you should be kept out of the dark and fully charged.

All of the lodges are identical.  Headington is located in the second meadow on the left.
