Logie Newton Lodges both benefit from stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to unwind and enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views of the countryside. With both heating and air conditioning, you can enjoy your holiday in comfort, whatever the season.
Start your day with a morning coffee on the decking while you watch our Highland cows grazing in the fields, cook up a feast on the barbecue fire pit, or soak in the warmth of the hot tub under our dark skies – you might even be lucky and spot the Northern Lights.
For those who like to stay active, there are over 10km of private grass tracks winding through native woodland and around open fields, perfect for exploring on foot or horseback. Along the way, you may come across the white quartz stone circles, and a walk to the top of Kirk Hill for the views is highly recommended. Each lodge has an outdoor warm water wash bay and a secure washing, drying and storage room for bikes and outdoor gear.
At Logie Newton, we don’t just tolerate dogs – we warmly welcome them. Upon booking, you’ll receive access to Ozzie’s Pawsome Picks, a guide written by our fox red Labrador Ozzie, featuring all his recommended dog-friendly adventures. Dogs are welcomed with a hamper including treats, towels, food and water bowls, poo bags, sofa throws, and a spare lead. Each lodge has its own enclosed garden, and there’s a secure dog park exclusively for guest use, perfect for off-lead fun.
For those who don’t like to leave their horses at home, we welcome up to four horses. Each has its own post-and-rail paddock in front of the lodges and a stable. A secure tack room, ample parking, and mucking-out tools are provided. Guests can also book our 25x45m all-weather outdoor arena. One bale of shavings is included in the horse rate, and additional shavings and hay can be purchased on-site.
Supporting local is a big part of our ethos. To enhance your stay, we've partnered with local businesses offering photography sessions, car detailing, wellbeing treatments, massages, dog walking, bike repairs, and beauty services.
