TOP THINGS TO - Autumn and Winter 1. Witness the impressive RED DEER rut on theheath in October. 2. Marvel at the colours of hundereds of ducks,resplendent in their finest plumage. 3. Listen for Bearded Tits in the reedbed. They have distinctive "pinging" calls. 4. Stay till dusk to watch Harriers, Swans and Starlingsreturning to roost. 5. Enjoy Christmas shopping and stock up on bird food and feeders.
