A tastefully restored and furnished 15th century manor house with views to the Quantock Hills. 4 poster beds& oak bedsteads. Ideal base for touring Somerset/Exmoor.
Set in a rural location overlooking the Quantock Hills, Blackmore Farm is a working Dairy/Arable farm. The Manor House dates from the 15th Century and is very well preserved with Oak Beams, Open Fires, Stone Archways and even its own private Chapel. The spacious and comfortable accommodation includes two 4 poster bedrooms and the Gallery room which has a secret staircase leading to its own private sitting room.
Further accommodationi in our two barn conversions has kitchenette facilities. Breakfast is taken in the Great Hall around a 20ft oak dining table featuring a wide range of local produce.
All rooms are en suite with full central heating. Ideal base for walking in the beautiful Quantock Hills, and within easy reach of Exmoor, West Somerset coast, Taunton, Wells and Glastonbury. Winner of the AA Award for Best Guest Accomodation 2011-2012. For a different experience try The Retreat - our Shepherds Hut in the back garden.

From the M5 junction 23 for Bridgwater. Drive through Bridgwater and take the A39 towards Minehead. Approximately three miles out of Bridgwater you will reach the Cannington roundabout. Turn left and follow the brown tourist signs for Blackmore Farm.
