Our newly restored Bow top Gypsy Caravan "Rose Hip" has all the old world charm of its 100 year history with a few modern twists.

Set in a secluded area of the farmyard, this romantic bolt hole for two has uninterupted  views down the valley. This historic gypsy caravan has a traditional slide out bed measuring 6 feet by 4 feet, bench seating, and storage cupboards. With the added benefit of a few modern features such as 12volt lighting and USB charging system and WiFi!.

Outdoor seating with small table. and firepit

Cooking can be done traditionally on the outside fire pit or if weather is inclement there is a microwave and kettle in the nearby reception building along with brand new shower room facilities.

Price includes bed linen, towels and welcome pack. Small onsite shop with milk, bacon, sausage icecream and other goodies.

Additional Directions Information

 Leave M1 at junction 28, (approx 22 miles to Hoe Grange). Take the A38 to Ripley then A610 to Ambergate, and the A6 to Cromford. Turn left off A6 then right onto A5012 to Grangemill, then follow the B5056 towards Ashbourne. After passing straight through Longcliffe crossroads and under the bridge, Hoe Grange is the next farm on the right hand side approx. 3/4 of a mile down the hill. Go straight up farm drive (do not turn left).

FROM SOUTH VIA M1
Leave M1 at junction 24, (approx 40 miles to Hoe Grange). Follow A50 towards Uttoxeter / Alton Towers. At Sudbury, leave A50 and take A515 to Ashbourne. Keep on A515 through Ashbourne heading towards Buxton. After several miles turn right onto the B5056 towards Bakewell, Hoe Grange is on this road on the left hand side, exactly 5 miles from this junction. If you reach Longcliffe crossroads you have gone too far. Go straight up farm drive (do not turn left).

FROM M6
Leave M6 at junction 15, (approx 45 miles to Hoe Grange). Follow signs for A50 towards Derby. At Sudbury, leave A50 and take A515 to Ashbourne. Keep on A515 through Ashbourne heading towards Buxton. After several miles turn right onto the B5056 towards Bakewell, Hoe Grange is on this road on the left hand side, exactly 5 miles from this junction. If you reach Longcliffe crossroads you have gone too far. Go straight up farm drive (do not turn left).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Public transport is available, but limited – don’t let that daunt you! We can organise pick ups from local stations and bus stops and offer a 10% discount for anyone arriving on foot, on horseback or by bicycle.

Details of public transport can be found at Traveline and bus timetables are available in the cabins. Derby is the nearest mainline railway station, and there are stations at Cromford and Matlock – plan your journey at National Rail
