The Cambridgeshire Countryside & Fenlands offer some fabulous opportunities for bird watching breaks.
The unique landscape of The Cambridgeshire Fens makes this region a birdwatchers paradise and there are so many wildlife parks around the Fenlands to enjoy, including Wicken Fen Nature Reserve (National Trust).
Throughout Cambridgeshire there are many RSPB Bird Reserves including The Ouse Washes near Ely, Fen Drayton Lakes near Cambridge, Nene washes near Peterborough and to the south of the Region Fowlmere Reserve near Royston. Further afield is The Welney Wetland Centre at Wisbech, a must for birdwatchers!
Staying on a farm is ideal for bird watching holidays and the countryside settings make a farm the perfect place to enjoy the plentiful birdlife, and with numerous farm walks & trails you do not need to venture far to see some amazing sites!
