Our lovely 5-star barn conversion is set alongside the fields, slightly separate from our other cottages on the farm. Sleeping 4, and with its own private hot tub and enclosed garden, the Hayloft is ideal for holidaying with pets and small children. It is spread across two floors, with unique undercroft feature (the Den) that's really popular with the 'smaller guests'. The large open plan living and dining area is a bright and airy space, where original features mix with modern furnishings to ensure a focus on comfort.

Outside, enjoy the privacy and seclusion of the private garden to take in the lovely views of the Suffolk countryside, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the starry Suffolk nights. The Hayloft offers beautiful views across the fields from the garden bench as the sun comes up, or simply lounge in the hot tub on the terrace and make use of the BBQ to dine outside. The space is secured with fencing and gates so is ideal for small children and/or pets.

Inside, the light and airy ground floor is open plan with two sets of french doors opening out onto the garden - perfect for eating inside or out. The kitchen and dining space is fully equipped, and the lounge area has plenty of comfy seating, with a wood burner for cosy evenings, as well as large screen TV, DVD player and a Pure radio Bluetooth speaker unit.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin next to the staircase leading upstairs, and the undercroft (the Den) is great for 'smaller' guests, including 2 futon chair beds and a giant beanbag for 'camping' in :-)

The small staircase leads up to the landing and two comfortable bedrooms - a spacious master room with kingsize bed, and a twin room with full-length (6'3") built-in single beds. Between them is a modern bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and basin. The beamed ceilings are high and well-lit, with opening Velux windows making the rooms bright and airy.

This is our premium cottage, ideal for families or groups of four.

Converted from one of the farm's original red-brick Victorian barns, Blyth's View is a detached cottage that sleeps 7 in two double bedrooms - one downstairs and one upstairs - and a triple bedroom. It's a great cottage for relaxing and entertaining inside or out, with a bright conservatory leading out into the courtyard for added living space and is ideal for larger groups.

On the ground floor is a spacious and bright kitchen/diner with large, extendable table. There is plenty of living room space with a large and comfortable lounge, cosy with a woodburner, but also bright and airy, as it leads into the conservatory that opens out onto the south-facing courtyard garden - ideal for barbecues or simply relaxing in the outside space.

Also on the ground floor are a double bedroom, and opposite is a walk-in shower room with wc and basin.

Upstairs, there's a bright, large south-facing double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over, wc, and basin. There is also a triple bedroom - great for the kids and with space to add a cot in either room if needed. Travel cots, stairgates, highchairs and booster seats are all available - please just request when you book.

There is lots to keep everyone in the family entertained at Bucks Farm - most popular is the heated swimming pool and large games room, and we also have a gym. Outside, there is plenty of green space to play football, clamber over the playframe, or ride on the sit-on toys and multiple bikes available to borrow. Also really popular is animal feeding time, where we feed the chickens and hunt for eggs, as well as feed the goats, sheep and ponies, and have a cuddle with the guinea pigs. You can do as much or as little as you want !

We hope you choose Bucks Farm for your next holiday and look forward to welcoming you.

Swallow's Rest is a great cottage for relaxing inside and out, with a large living and dining space leading directly out onto the private, south-facing garden - ideal for pets and small children. All on the ground level and with exclusive hot tub, Swallow's Rest has one double room with en-suite shower and WC, and a twin bedroom; it also has a large separate family bathroom, and separate kitchen.

Swallow's Rest is a lovely holiday barn conversion, and one of our two cottages that features its own hot tub. It's ideal for sunny days with its open aspect, as well as cool days or nights enjoying the surrounding Suffolk countryside and dark, starry night skies. The garden is enclosed with a wooden fence and so this cottage is ideal for guests with pets and small children.

The living room and dining area in Swallow's Rest is spacious and bright, with french doors opening out onto the garden and the hot tub outside, while inside you can enjoy a cosy evening in with the wood burner. We provide all the wood and kindling, and you just help yourselves to more from the wood shed when needed.

The kitchen adjoining the living area is fully-equipped, and opens out onto the pretty courtyard. There is a large family bathroom also accessible from the living room, which has a large bath, sink and wc.

The bedroom area of the cottage can be closed off through a door leading from the living room into a separate hallway. The cottage has a twin bedroom, and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, WC and basin. There is room for a travel cot in either bedroom. We have travel cots, as well as highchairs, booster seats and other children's equipment available to borrow - please just request when you book.

We also have lots of toys and games in our large games room, as well as outdoor toys, a playground area, football net and trampoline, and multiple bikes for all ages to borrow - even a tandem !

A highlight of the stay at Bucks Farm for many of our guests is animal feeding time most mornings. We feed the chickens and hunt for eggs, as well as feed the goats, sheep and ponies, and have a cuddle with the guinea pigs. You can do as much or as little as you want !

Swallow's Rest is also a perfect base from which to explore - the market town of Halesworth is just a 5 minute drive, or why not have a day at the Suffolk coast?  Popular seaside towns and beaches such as Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are within a 20-30 minute drive. This part of Suffolk is well known for its beautiful walks and there is lots of wildlife to enjoy.

We hope you decide to choose Bucks Farm and look forward to welcoming you and your furry friends too!

Harvest Keep is one of our largest cottages, with an open plan format that makes a great space for entertaining - we have on occasion had over 20 people seated for a dinner party. This spacious cottage sleeps 5 on its own, and with the added flexibility to be opened up to join Hogs Corner via an inter-connecting door, it can sleep a total of 9. It's ideal for larger groups.

Harvest Keep has two floors with all bedrooms upstairs and off a balconied landing. There is one double bedroom with en-suite shower, WC and basin, one twin bedroom and a single bedroom. A travel cot could be set up in any of the rooms - please just ask for children's equipment on booking.

Downstairs, the living space is open and airy. The front entrance has a traditional split door - so you can enjoy the fresh air off the fields, whilst keeping the chickens out of the kitchen ! The cottage has an open, fully-fitted kitchen, as well as a family bathroom off the open plan living area.

Ideal for entertaining, the cottage has a large dining table that extends to seat 10 comfortably, and if needed, more tables and chairs can be added for special occasions. There are 3 large sofas for relaxing in the living room, which can also be made really cosy with the wood burner. The living space also opens out onto the courtyard and terrace, with table and chairs for entertaining and relaxing outside. Barbecues are available to borrow, and coals provided.

There is lots to keep everyone in the family entertained at Bucks Farm - most popular is the heated swimming pool and large games room, and we also have a gym. You can do as much or as little as you want !

And if you want to venture out, we are ideally located to visit the beautiful towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, amongst others, for some great beaches and shopping.

We're sure you'll find something to keep everyone happy, and hope you decide to choose Bucks Farm for your next holiday. We look forward to welcoming you.

Beautifully converted from one of the original red-brick barns, Hogs Corner is a cosy cottage with a double bedroom and  bunk-bedded room with space for a travel cot in either. For larger groups, Hogs also offers the added flexibility to connect next door into Harvest Keep, through a lockable interconnecting door to then sleep a total of 9 people.

Inside, the large French windows create a light and airy open-plan living and dining space that opens out onto the south-facing terrace overlooking the pretty courtyard. This is a lovely spot - either for an evening barbecue or breakfast outside - perhaps with fresh eggs collected that morning?

In cooler months, the cottage is really cosy - especially with the wood burner fired up - ideal after days out walking through the Suffolk countryside, beaches or high streets.

There is a fully-fitted corner kitchen, and a bathroom with large walk-in shower, WC and basin. Both the bathroom and the double bedroom have extra wide doorways for easier access if needed. The bunk room is light and airy with double aspect windows and has full length bunk beds. If you need a travel cot then please just ask us when booking - it will fit into either bedroom. We have lots of other children's equipment you can borrow such as baby baths, highchairs, booster seats, etc.

There is lots to keep everyone in the family entertained at Bucks Farm - most popular is the heated swimming pool and large games room, and we also have a gym. Outside, there is plenty of green space to run around, play football, clamber over the playframe, or ride on the sit-on toys and multiple bikes available to borrow. Also really popular is animal feeding time, where we feed the chickens and hunt for eggs, as well as feed the goats, sheep and ponies, and have a cuddle with the guinea pigs. You can do as much or as little as you want !

And if you want to venture out, we are ideally located to visit the beautiful towns and beaches of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. And why not try 'crabbing' in the creeks of the beautiful seaside village of Walberswick - we have crabbing lines, buckets and nets available to borrow.

We hope you decide to choose Bucks Farm for your next holiday, and look forward to welcoming you.

Follow the A12 - northwards past Yoxford, or southwards past Blythburgh, and turn off onto the A144 to Halesworth. Drive through Bramfield and onwards up the hill towards Halesworth. When you get to the T-junction in Halesworth, turn left. Once you have left the town, follow the road for around half a mile to a sharp 90 degree lefthand bend. At this bend is a narrow lane straight ahead and signposted to Cookley. Turn into that lane and follow it over the rise where you'll see the farm and its pink farmhouse straight ahead in the distance. Keep following the road down the hill and round the sharp 'S' bend, and then in around 100 metres you'll see our entrance and signs to the holiday cottages on your right. You've made it !
