Our stunning ensuite shepherd's hut enjoys a quiet location in an pretty meadow just across the lane from the farmhouse and B&B. Our luxury hand built oak shepherd's hut is the ultimate glamping experience, being fully insulated and fitted with a little log burning stove and an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. You also have exclusive use of a heavenly wood-fired hot tub.
The Pod is perfectly positioned in the pretty meadow just across the lane from the farmhouse and B&B, where it joins our lovely Shepherd's Hut at a comfortable distance. Offering the same completely self-contained luxury with easy access, the Pod is totally self-contained, spacious and really cosy, thanks to its superb build quality. Simply laid out with a kitchen area, upgraded from the standard and including a fridge, oven and gas hob etc, there's a sofa, table and chairs for seating and a very comfortable double bed. A little shower room with toilet and basin occupies one corner. Light floods in through the large window behind the bed as well as through the floor to ceiling glazing at the entrance. Double doors open out to a small covered veranda and gravel area with hot tub, table and chairs.
Whether you are looking for a getaway from it all break or an active holiday sightseeing, walking or cycling our shepherd's hut is in the perfect position for all of these. Open from March to October, minimum 2 nights. Over 18s only in both glamping options.

What's included in your shepherd's hut

A fixed double bed plus table and chairs both inside and out, a kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. The kitchenette has 2 gas cooking rings, fridge and sink plus a microwave and toaster. Outside you will find a BBQ, perfect for sunny day cooking, and you can gaze at the stars until the early hours (there is very little light pollution as the village does not have street lighting).

Outside you will find a BBQ, perfect for sunny day cooking, and you can gaze at the stars until the early hours (there is very little light pollution as the village does not have street lighting).

Flexible arrival days depending on overall availability. Arrival time between 5.00pm – 7.00pm or outside these times by prior arrangement. Very sorry, no dogs or pets due to the close proximity of the farm and conservation areas. The hut is only suitable for adults aged 18 and over.

Rest awhile in soothing warm waters and take in the tranquility of your surroundings – heavenly during the day or at night under starlit skies.

We will show you how to light the log burner when you arrive.

The tub takes approximately 2 hours to reach optimum temperature.

We will provide a bag of logs. If you need more we can supply extra for a small charge.

Don't forget your swimwear and towels!

Manor Farm is within easy reach of Burford, Stow, Cheltenham and Oxford and with good connections to the M40, M4 and M5 motorways.

Suggested Routes

From the North (M1)
Exit the M1 at junction 21 and take M69 towards Coventry. Take A46 to Warwick. From Warwick take A429 to Stow-on-the-Wold. Just past Stow-on-the-Wold take A424 to Burford and then the A361 to Lechlade. In Lechlade centre, turn left onto A417 to Faringdon. Continue for ¾ mile and turn left just before the Trout Inn. Follow the sign to Kelmscott on the B4449 and after 2 miles, take the 2nd right into Kelmscott at a cross roads. Once in the village, fork left and Manor Farm is 100 yards on the right.

From London via M4 ( Swindon)
Exit M4 at junction 15 (Swindon). Head north on the A419. Take the A361 to Highworth/Burford. In Highworth, continue straight through to Lechlade. Cross the river at Lechlade, turn right at the traffic lights into the town square then right onto A417 to Faringdon. Continue for ¾ mile and turn left just before the Trout Inn. Follow the sign to Kelmscott on the B4449 and after 2 miles, take the 2nd right into Kelmscott at a cross roads. Once in the village, fork left and Manor Farm is 100 yards on the right.

From London via M40 (Oxford)
Bypass Oxford on the M40. Take A40 exit to Cheltenham. At Witney take A4095 to Faringdon. The Kelmscott turning is on the right after the village of Clanfield, B4449. After 2 miles take the 1st left turn to Kelmscott at a cross roads. As you approach the village take the first fork left and Manor Farm is 100 yards on the right.
