Hardwick Park is described on its website as 'a country park with a difference'. It is an 18th century ornamental park which has undergone a 20th century restoration of its lake and 'Gothic ruin' follies.  It is a Visit Britain accredited attractionand was restored with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund.
